Train Times - Fares
Using the calendar for 2010 and January 2011, please match the colour to the date you wish to travel. Most trains are steam hauled. Our timetable is subject to alteration without notice.

Fares
- Adult unlimited travel for the day – with free line guide - £11.20
- Child (aged 5-15 inclusive) - unlimited travel for the day – with free scratch card game to play as you travel - £5.60
- Child (under 5 free) - Free scratch card game given
- Adult single - £6.60
- Child single (aged 5-15 inclusive) - £3.30
- Family ticket - unlimited travel for the day – with free line guide and scratch cards - 2-adults, 2 children - £29.00
- Dogs - £1.50 per journey
- Cycles - £3.50 per journey

Access for all visitors
Here at the Railway we aim to cater for all age groups and abilities. Arriving at Ravenglass there is level access from the car park to the shop and ticket office side entrance, level access to the trains and the toilets, while a ramp helps visitors to access Jan’s Café on Platform One.
At Dalegarth, our terminus station, there is level access from the platform to Fellbites Eatery, the Scafell Gift shop and the toilets. A ramped walkway affords access to the car park and to the lower ground floor Eskdale Room for all who prefer not to use the stairs from the upper floor.
Crucially, each train includes wheelchair friendly carriages. (The guard simply removes a side section of the carriage to allow easy access.) While it is helpful to know in advance if individual visitors using a wheelchair are travelling, it is really important for us to know if a party of wheelchair users are coming. In theory access for all is possible at our intermediate stations, but as these are often unmanned we suggest that travel from Ravenglass or Dalegarth is preferable.
